President Liu Changsheng met with the education delegation led by the Premier of South Australia
On September 20th, Liu Changsheng, President of Shanghai University, met with Peter Malinauskas, Premier of South Australia, and leaders of three universities in South Australia, including the University of Adelaide, the University of South Australia and Flinders University.
At the meeting, President Liu briefly introduced Shanghai University and its international cooperation to the guests, hoping to explore research fields of common interest with top universities in South Australia in the future, and gradually establish substantive and institutionalized cooperation. The Hon Peter Malinauskas MP emphasized the importance of joint talent training and scientific research cooperation in colleges and universities, and said that he would be committed to promoting exchanges and cooperation between top universities in South Australia and Shanghai University. Colin Stirling, President and Vice-Chancellor of Flinders University, David Lloyd, Vice Chancellor and President of University of South Australia, and Jessica Gallagher, Deputy Vice Chancellor (External Engagement) of the University of Adelaide, respectively exchanged views on the future cooperation between both sides.
