Sungkyunkwan University President Yoo Ji Beom and his delegation visited Shanghai University

On March 28th, Cheng Danhong, Chairperson of the University council of Shanghai University, met with Yoo Ji Beom, president of Sung Kyunkwan University.

On behalf of Shanghai University, Professor Cheng Danhong extended a warm welcome to the Sungkyunkwan University delegation. He said that the two universities have a good foundation for cooperation, and encouraged the two sides to expand collaborations to more disciplines on the basis of the existing nano-related cooperation. President Yoo Ji Beom responded positively and briefly introduced Sungkyunkwan University's key majors and experience in industry-university-research cooperation, and hoped to further deepen exchanges and cooperation by carrying out substantive projects such as faculty & student exchanges, joint cultivation, and industry exposure. During the conversation, both sides have mentioned cooperation in the fields of economics and management, arts, and humanities.

Cui Wei, Director of the International Office, Huang Pei, Deputy Director of the International Office, Shi Liyi, Director of the Nano Center of the College of Science, and Liang Longnan, Vice Dean of the Institute of Emerging Industries (Jiaxing, Zhejiang), accompanied the meeting.

Sungkyunkwan University has a history of more than 600 years, with 1,437 full-time professors, 1,467 part-time professors, and around 24,000 students. Sungkyunkwan University ranks 145th in the latest QS World University Rankings.
